Tale #10 Duke of York Square Food Market

This is one of my favorite food markets in London – it has all the allure of Borough market without the massive crowds. You can definitely circle through this place multiple times to see whats on offer before making any purchasing decisions. The majority of vendors are pretty friendly (with the exception of the vendor at Rainforest Creations who gave me a lot of finger wagging for all my photographing). Whatever.

Unless I have a legitimate reason, like a massive hangover or I am at a different food market, I am always at this market on a Saturday morning. The reasons are numerous — King’s Road is just gorgeous, this market has every type of food you could want (with the exception of some Chinese food hmm must remedy this), the Saatchi gallery is right there, there’s tons of shopping, places to sit in the square to eat and enjoy your food, the list goes on. Also, awesomely, whatever you can’t get at the market, you can just pop into Patridge’s and get it there. You will not go home empty-handed or with any empty stomach. What is not to love about this market?
